I am a UX designer with a background in graphic design and product development. This experience has given me the competitive advantage of a strong design sense coupled with the understanding of how a product goes from concept to reality. My greatest strength is finding ways to connect business and user goals in the form of engaging and considerate designs.
Solving abstract problems is what drove me to a career in UX. In college I spent two weeks in Alabama for a design program called Project M. While there I designed and printed letterpress posters that called attention to the negative impact the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico was having on Alabama. Project M taught me that I really enjoyed using creative thinking and design as tools to solve challenging problems.
In my free time I enjoy riding my bike in the early hours of the morning, playing with my cameras, following my favorite soccer team, and going to beer gardens and breweries.
